This special exhibit featuring 25 quilts that tell a Nappanee story opens with a reception on May 31 at 6 pm. Quilts are still being accepted.  If you have a quilt with Nappanee ties that you'd like to share, call Martha at (574) 773-7919.

Bring your sewing machine and stitch along with other crafters to help make “take along quilts” for kids in Elkhart County foster care.
  
Crafting Hope meets every eight weeks at the Library.
 

If you are interested in joining in on the fun, read on for what to bring along. . .

 
Supplies List
  • Basic sewing kit (including sewing machine and thread)

  • 9 fat quarters of cotton print

  • ¾ yard cotton fabric for binding & strap

  • 4 yards flannel for backing

  • Fusible interfacing

  • Cotton batting

  • ¾” Button

  • Yarn for tying

  • Large safety pins
